How to get to the island of Iž
The island of Iž is located near the city of Zadar at a distance of 12 miles.
From transport you can reach Zadar by car, plane, bus or train.
From Zadar to Iž, there are 4 ferry lines every day, at reasonable prices: two ferries and two catamarans. Contact us by e-mail for the schedule.
The catamaran is the fastest connection, in 50 minutes you will arrive from Zadar to Veli Iž, it runs every day around 11 in the morning.
The boat is a bit slower, in 1 hour and 30 minutes you will arrive from Zadar to Veli Iž. A catamaran and a boat dock in the port 100 m from ‘Villa Maria’. They do not transport cars.
The ferry takes 1 hour and 5 minutes and docks in the port of Bršanj in Mali Iž, from where you will reach Veli Iž in 5-10 minutes by car or bus. For all our guests we have provided free parking next to Villa Maria.
